Since 1947, the Chasco Fiesta has been a celebration of family fun and entertainment. Held for 9 days, the celebration takes place along the banks of the beautiful Pithlachascotee River in downtown New Port Richey. Locals and tourists alike can enjoy this traditional Native American festival, which includes both a boat and street parade. Other festival activities include the Coronation Ball, beef barbecue, nightly outdoor concerts, a carnival, softball tournaments, a flea market, a 5K race and more! - Cotee River Seafest
The annual Cotee River Seafest is a weekend celebration of our local community, combining musical entertainment with incredible seafood, a boat show, and an arts & crafts fair. As one of our favorite holiday traditions, the Cotee River Christmas Boat Parade is an incredible spectacle of lights. Boats of all kinds are encouraged to participate, including any sea-worthy vessel from a kayak to a sailboat! The boats are decked with strings of lights and holiday flair as they travel the Cotee River from Miller’s Bayou on Port Richey’s waterfront to Sims Park in Downtown New Port Richey.
